The Children’s Advocacy Center, Hope Circle of Gaston County is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization dedicated to providing
integrated support services for children who have been victimized through sexual and physical abuse and assault.  Our services
are offered free to residents of  Gaston county.

Hope circle provides quality counseling services for children and non-offending family members.  We partner with medical
professionals, the Department of Social Services,   and local prosecutors to address the immediate and long-term needs of the
victims,   while advocating for tougher sentencing for offenders.
CAC, Hope Circle’s mission is to care for the victim’s needs first.  Our  organization was founded in 2004 under the belief that all
children and families deserve quality care and support while experiencing a crisis.  We work to bridge the gap between the  child victim
and the necessary assistance each child and their family needs in order to ensure a life-long recovery.  Our program has served hundreds
of children in 2009, and was recently awarded accreditation as a recognized member of the National Children’s Alliance.

Our program focuses on the child’s safety while coming forward to begin the healing process.  We employ techniques that are sensitive to
each child’s needs, including those with    learning and hearing disabilities.  Each member of our staff is trained to appropriately handle
delicate matters such as child abuse.
